About Muscles. A dance album called "Guns Babes Lemonade." I don't really care for dance generally because it sometimes (often) doesn't focus enough on lyricism and songwriting. There's no emotional connection, it's just drugs and glitter and bullshit. There are exceptions, obviously. Cut Copy?

Anyshit this dance album by a guy who calls himself "Muscles" is fucking unbelievable. It is. So good.

His melodic sensibility is razor sharp, and the lyrics are clever and engaging and charismatic. It's pretty much the ultimate good-times album. There are like two songs out of eleven that aren't absolutely killer.

Some of you have probably heard it - I liked like two songs when I downloaded it a year ago or whatever and kind of forgot about it. Then I listened to the rest and realized it was all as good or better. Listen to it.

Great album, came in 6 on my top 20 albums of 2007. It's pretty fucking catchy. Each song is an ear worm.

This album is fantastic, but it was one of the less famous ones in 2007 and I don't think it got the following it deserved. But it's definitely one of my favourites.

I got this one just a few months ago. I think it would have placed fairly highly on my 07 list though. Top 20 for sure. Oh well - better late than never.

Catchy, pretty decent debut minus a few songs.

It's rare for me to have so many favorite songs contained on the same album, but certainly this one qualifies for that distinction.
