Hello I joined in hopes in finding new music to groove to. I've found it is so easy to get stuck in a musical rut.
I am looking for music to Belly Dance to.

We are non traditional or "fusion" dancers and have been dancing to various electronica tracks in the past few years.

I also teach yoga and create almost exclusively electronica blends for that as well.

I would love to check out anything that you all might recommend!

For yoga I bet that The Field's "From Here We Go to Sublime" would be good.

I'm not really sure how electronica music for bally dancing should sound.. probably fast paced, maybe just some good ol' house type stuff? Gui Boratto's "Chromophobia" and Pantha Du Prince's "This Bliss" (the second might fit both categories). Oh, The Knife's "Silent Shout" would probably be great for belly dancing!

I really like the Fields. That will be excellent for yoga. I didn't really care for the synthesizer throughout "Silent Shout".
I haven't been able to locate Chromophobia.
I will keep looking though.

The last song we did was "Believe" by the Chemical Bros although generally speaking I'm kind of iffy on their stuff.

I really enjoy listening to Niyaz but haven't quite figured out how to dance to it.
I am sort of enjoying Rekmire, have you heard that?
