I know this is an old one but I couldn't see a thread here on it.

I never liked Hot Chip's "The Warning" much, but I have heard only a couple of songs from "Made in the Dark" and they sounded great.

Any Hot Chippers out there who think "Made in the Dark" is worth a spin if their first one didn't shizzle my shizizzle? Is it that different and if so, any thoughts on why that is?

Ha yeah it's definitely worth a spin, it's a bit unfocused as they jump a few genres over the course of the album but it's great and a heck of a lot better live!

Thanks for the tip - I downloaded it and have only managed to listen to the first 4 or 5 tracks so far - so far so good. Much more in your face than the first effort - just what I hoped for! I can see how this would work great live - looking forward to watching the couple of tour dvds that came with the deluxe edition.
