I'd consider it sexy...that album would definately get me in the mood, great trip CD too. For headphones too, but not to fall asleep to...

I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with the chemical bros - brothers gonna work it out. Definitely a GREAT cd, one of my faves... but sexy it isn't.
Try Groove Armada - Lovebox instead.. great switching between house funk, acoustic stuff, rockish stuff..
For fun and sexy - CSS.
For sultry - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Gold Lion, UNKLE - Never, Neverland.
For great background music and post-sexy stuff - BT - Music From and Inspired By the Movie Monster or This Binary Universe.
For coming home with a girl after an afterparty - Solar Stone - Deep & Chilled Euphoria or GU - Afterhours 3. Danny Howells - Miami works as well.
For sleepy stuff - try Global Communication - 76:14 or Future Sound of London - ISDN, or Amorphous Androgynous - The Mello Hippo Disco Show.
I could probably go on for a long time here... however, I don't know if I'm "off the beaten track" enough...

Sexy:
Junior Boys - So This is Goodbye
A sample track would be "In The Morning"

Sleep:
Sigur Ros - ()
This is an extremely slow tempo album yet very interesting at the same time.

Go. Now. Get those

When I think "sexy," I immediately think Maxinquaye by Tricky... And, to a lesser degree, Who Can You Trust? by Morcheeba. Maybe Barry White...? I don't really listen to him though...

And for sleeping...
Selected Ambient Works 85-92 - Aphex Twin
Ambient, Vols. I-IV - Brian Eno
Venice - Fennesz
Harmony In Ultraviolet - Tim Hecker
Oxygene - Jean-Michel Jarre
... and a whole lot of classical.......

Most people might not agree but I just wrote a post about this so it's fresh on my mind and what the hell:

Stars - almost anything from Nightsongs.
In particular: My Radio (AM Mix), This Charming Man (which is a 'smooth' cover of the Smith's song), Tru, and MY Radio (FM Mix). Maybe some songs from their new album, aptly titled "In Our Bedroom after the War", would work for your...uh...purposes as well.

There's a lot more I could contribute but I'm "too tired" right now (got a headache, etc.) to go through them.

For sexy, I think of something totally different from music to sleep to. I like "Global Groove: Edge," compiled by Montreal dj Mark Anthony, or "First" by Robbie Rivera.

For sleep:

Cat Power, "The Greatest" always clears my head, although I usually set the player to skip track 7.

Bonobo, "Days to Come"

Air, "Moon Safari," which was mentioned before.

Zero 7, "The Garden," although the simulated record-skipping in the otherwise-excellent "Futures" and the whole song "Pageant of the Bizarre" can be a little jarring if you're trying to fall asleep.

El Perro del Mar, "El Perro del Mar."

Goldfrapp, "Utopia" EP and "Felt Mountain."

Lamb, "What Sound."

The Postal Service, "Give Up."

Moby, "Hotel," despite its being on Metacritic's 100 worst-reviewed list.

Morcheeba, "Big Calm." Also "Charango" if you skip the utterly execrable track 9.

Bent, "Intercept!"

Blonde Redhead, "23," which was mentioned before.

Massive Attack, "Blue Lines."

Cowboy Junkies, "The Trinity Sessions."

Grizzly Bear, "Yellow House."

Two great artists mentioned already, the Aphex Twin ambient stuff is brilliant. Drukqs is very good too, but maybe not as 'sleepy' as you would like.

I'd also suggest some K&D, Tosca and Afterlife. 'Simplicity Two Thousand' is both a great sleep and great sexy album!

edit: Another awesome track springs to mind for both sexy and sleep. Try 'Spiral Never Before' by Yoshinori Sunahara. It's on the album 'Lovebeat'. Very VERY good track!

Official website to check out

edit2: Also try 'I Understand You' by Charles Webster from the album 'Born On The 24th Of July. One of the best tracks ever made!

For sexy sleazy music, somebody mentioned Air and the first track that springs to mind for sleazy sexyness is 'Playground Love' from their Virgin Suicides album.

The dirty, sleazy sax in that track is what makes it sooooooooooooooooooooooo good!
