Seriously dude, if you have a problem with this site nobody is forcing you to stay. I don't really have any problems with you, but all these self-centered thread diversions gets fucking annoying. Get over yourself, and learn how not to respond with biting criticism and maybe you'll make some friends.

It also might help to be respect to others opinions, stop taking things so seriously, and grow up instead of always putting in the last word.

In summation, if you don't want to be here (which seems incredibly apparent as you think we are all out to get you and constantly complain) leave, I'm sorry that we can't support your self-centered world view where you are always right. Otherwise, chill out and talk about the music without saying "Your artist sucks."

If you have any questions, PM me. Otherwise, this is all just pointless.

Post Script: These thoughts are mine and mine only, I represent no "Clicks" out to get you.

And yet I hold the grudges? And if you are so much more intelligent than me then learn how to use the correct words. I didn’t chastise you, which would mean to “inflict punishment” nor did I “censure you severely.”

Also, don’t post the exact same thing in multiple threads that don’t contribute anything to the topics at hand. This is your warning hudson, I would hope you take it seriously.

I don't have a problem with this site, just certain mods that continue to follow me around and chastise me while looking the other direction when I get attacked.

My intention is never to derail a thread. If you look back, you'll see that this thread became derailed when twinkieboy insulted me for voicing my opinion. I merely responded to him because the mods refuse to stick up for me, yet they are ready and willing to bust my balls at any moment.

I tried to bring twinkieboy's initial response to me to the attention of the mods. But of course they ignored it. So I am left to defend myself as best I can. If the mods want to do their job and enforce forum policy, that's fine, i'll let them do their job. But when they don't it, I'm left to defend myself, which I will most certainly do.

And in case you haven't noticed, any time I slip up, there's a mod right there ready to let me know I fucked up. So I'm calling bullshit.

I'm here to talk about music, plain and simple.

Oh, I beg to differ. By following me around and using your position as a forum moderator to intimidate and harass me is a very underhanded form of punishment.

Hudson, I can't tell if this is all just a big production and you are just enjoying causing trouble over there, but if you genuinely feel that anybody is 'out to get you' here, you may need to up the dosage on your medication. This thread, for instance, wouldn't be on page two now, had you not felt the need to put the last word in. It's the internet, people can't hurt you unless you let them (and as an intelligent individual you shouldn't). I didn't particularly like Twink's tactfulness, or lack thereof, with his response, but it was clearly a joke and it seemed pretty harmless. You have a very long history here of presenting your opinions as hard facts and not 'adding more' to the conversation other than that you don't like something, so getting on his case for it seems a bit hypocritical. There are no "Clicks" on this forum, some people are friends but I highly doubt anybody is plotting against you. Speaking of tact, your creation of a thread to bash the mods and attempt to become a mod, not only showed your vanity, but also was rather tactless. It's okay to want a laisez faire style of government, but that doesn't mean that anybody has to change how they do things to appease you. The only reason you may think that there are individuals 'out to get you' is because you seem to be a lightning rod of negative attention. I think that your record here speaks for itself, and you are the main attributor to the negative attention that you get. So please, grow up or leave. I can't ban you, but I am seriously getting tired of having to read all of this random stuff in threads intended for music discussion only. A little fun is great, but arguments are highly frustrating.

Please don't reply to this and make it worse. If you have any issues meet me in the chatroom (I've been waiting for you since I sent my PM to you) or PM me.

Sincerly,

Mike

Mike, I appreciate your interest in the matter. But please understand, I have just as much right to post as anyone else here, this is a public forum.

Like I said before, I don't derail threads. Others derail them by attacking me and then I am forced to defend myself because the mods don't hold everyone here to the same strict standards which they hold me to. That's a fact.

I guarantee you, if I would've told twinkieboy that his opinion was due to having his head up his ass, the mods would've been all over me, probably banned me.

Fact is, twinkieboy's insult didn't even bother me, I like lively debate in which people use colorful language and the occasional insult. But the mods have no tolerance for these kinds of debates because they are construed as "discourteous". They have informed me that I am not allowed to be "discourteous" and if I continue to be "discourteous" they will ban me.

The mods flat out told me that "discourtesy" is not tolerated here at metacritic, which of course is simply not the case as we see it all the time from lots of different members. But like I said, for some reason, the mods have it in for me. And if they have to use the whole "discourteous" thing to get rid of me, well, that's pretty much all they have to go on.

So, it's not me that forced the issue, it was the mods. If they are ready to ban me for being "discourteous" then they should be prepared to ban every member for being "discourteous".

But, I am officially ready to let this present issue rest. As long as everyone else is. And I would be happy to discuss the issue further with you in chat. Just pm me anytime you want to visit.

p.s. The "vote now:it's your duty" thread was a joke. I'm sure you knew that. Obviously I didn't expect to become Supreme Elite Chancellor of metacritic.lol

hudson, if you're referring to Debbie Harry in your sig I concur but Blondie is a band not an individual and I don't know how Chris Stein would feel about getting into a "chiffron" slip after surviving one close call with the Reaper in the 80s. As for the Midnight Juggernauts, I've liked everything I've heard of theirs so far.

Okay guys, we have reached a truce. So if everybody can try their hardest to get along, and avoid personal shots for a while, it would be greatly appreciated.

Mike, thanks for moderating the truce. I'm glad you got FragilekidA to admit that I am in fact, better looking than him. I think we can all start fresh.

I realize you're joking, but you really always have to have the last word, don't you?

Actually I think the vocals on the album are the most original aspect of it. I mean, sure "Shadows" has one of the best bass riffs I've heard this year, and "Road to Recovery" has this cathartic chorus that makes you want to roll at your grandma's house, but there's some really interesting harmonies going on in the verse of "Road..." and "Shadows" compliments its instrumentation with a more minimal macabre wail. For me, most dance LPs wear thin after enough listens, but Dystopia has been growing more interesting with each listen. I think the last album to do this for me was Vitalic's "OK Cowboy."

I agree with hudson The Great. I heard a couple of songs, and it's pretty catchy, but nothing really special. I personnaly prefer the electronic/ambient/shoegaze formula than electronic/techno/dance. Yes, i'm boring Smiler
