This is excellent! I prefer it over their tour-mates Justice even.

'Nine lives' is a good song. It's an ok album. These guys sound about as original as "She wants revenge", and not as catchy, imo.

Thank you for the 'man with head up own ass' perspective, hudson.

Twinkie. If you have a problem with my opinion or comments pertaining to this album, please explain why. Hurling personal insults is not allowed and against forum policy. You may not like my perspective on the album, but the least you could do is present your rebuttal in an intelligent and courteous manner. I expect other members to be held to the same standard that I am. As the other mods have raked me over the coals for being discourteous and threatened to ban me, I don't plan on rolling over and taking insults from others. I realize that i'm not part of the mod clique around here, but I will stand up for myself regardless of whether or not the mods choose to defend my rights as a poster just the same as they do for all members. So, I will make an issue out of this until you agree to treat me with the same courtesy with which I'm demanded to give other members.

Does it always hurt to bend down that far, or do you get used to it after a while?

What's funny is your complete inability to intelligently explain why my initial post is off-base. My suspicion is that you know i'm right and that you may have over-hyped this album...just a tad. So, instead of admitting that you're praise for this album was exorbitant, you've reduced yourself to a child hurling insults because of your lack of backbone and integrity. It's cool though, I won't continue to rub your face in it. Moving along......

Still nothing intelligent to say? Well, let's just agree to disagree then. For those who are considering buying this album, just to restate what I said earlier, this is an ok album, I like it. It's a rather inspired rehash of 80s synth rock. And, while the album does possess some nice, catchy tunes, it's far from brilliant, imo.

I'm glad you think complimenting you is not intelligent.

I was going to make a comment about how whiney Hudson is, but I just figured I'd let it slide. So anyways, I hadn't even heard about this album so I've got it queued.

It's decent, the vocals are slightly offputting, but that's just my tastes. I'll listen to it again after I'm done with this new one by Venetian Snares (plug). I'm not promising any revelations though. ---------------------------------- Employee of the month awards are the opiate of the masses. For the potheadsGang Starr

How'd I miss that?! Anyways, I was rather unimpressed with Dystopia. It isn't bad by any means, some really good songs.. but mostly just "meh".

OK, you’ve made your point hud, you didn’t like the way you were responded to. Fine, nobody has come and said anything else to add fuel except you, so just drop it and move on—like you said you were going to do a few posts above.

lol. I get attacked and the mod steps in to chastise me. Typical, pitiful, laughable.
