Hmmm, I always considered digweed progressive trance; like christopher lawrence... But either way, I have been way into John Digweed's music for years, my favorite of his is a couple live recordings that may be tough to find. Live at Orlando and at Delta Heavy; absolutely incredible sets. Sasha has a few good albums of a similar sort, namingly GUO13, I can never get enough of that album (great for mountain drives). Sasha & Digweed put out a album recently (northern exposure: expeditions) that I feel is pretty lame compared to their other stuff.

there is no doubt that JD is prog trance.I was stating that on this recent mix fabric 20 or 21...whatever it is.He has stryaed from his formula...that i guess has gotten him some fans.
You could put the computer on auto cross fade and make a good selection...and your results would come out similar to digweed.he is a slack dj.But is always really clean and boring.

thanks again...I will hold off Fabric20 for now (expensive anyway). Still enjoy sasha and Digger's Communicate (thinking of getting the 10th Ann. of Renaisance) and Sasha's newer Involver is way better than AirDrawnDagger.

Has anyone bought or heard Digweeds new compilations 'Transitions 1+2'? They seem an evolution of his style, although they are still very much Digweed. I've always been a fan of his. Its true he is very 'clean' but he certainly goes for totally non-comercial sound. He has a tendency to be downtempo and off the beaten track.
