There might be a Justice thread somewhere, but this one's about a particular question of exactly what is being said in the song "D.V.N.O."

See because for some reason any lyrics database anywhere on the internet lists the line as

I put you on my list
And make you clap to this (??)

Which is firstly, of course, retarded, and secondly -

It seems to me pretty obvious that he's saying

"Put you on my list, and make a track to diss"

Which makes sense, and is in keeping with the ironic tone of the song. They're not really exclusive assholes, or at least I hope not, and the song seems to be especially in the first verse a parody of asshole club owners and bands and cliques that treasure shutting people out. So the "make a track to diss" fits because obviously they're not rappers or a group that would make a "diss track" either.

So why has no one, apparently, on the entire internet, noticed this? I guess I COULD be wrong, but it makes sense and if you listen, seems to be what the guy's actually saying.

I invite you all to listen and see to what extent you agree. (track 9 from "Cross" or whatever, about 25 seconds in)

With all that's being written about this "band" on the internet, and all the attempts at lyrics pages, how could they not have noticed it? Is my question.

You ignore the fact that most of these 'lyrics pages' simply copy lyrics found elsewhere.

He also ignores the fact that justice is better categorized as electronic and most of us don't care at all about the band.

Meh, quite a few people around here like Justice (not me).

I thought it was a pretty reasonable topic, even if no one responds.

Hey, me as well!
I think this fits just as well in an "indie" category than the electronic category since, well.... most who listen to a lot of variations on electronic music probably aren't listening to too much Justice. But, the category is "indie rock" and not just "indie".

I think the lyrics are something like "We are not original! We are just a shitty Daft Punk! We shouldn't be making money we are no talent ass clowns!" No offense to anyone, just i really hate justice
