I listen to lots and lots of electronic, but most of it is Big Beat or House or Indie material, pretty much metacritic material. What I'm looking for now is some incredible trance - I used to hate trance cause I found it repeatative, but I believe these artists are highly respected so I'm gonna get into them.
However finding their albums has been a pain. Critics hate them and they compile their stuff wierdly; do they have greatest hits or even better, can someone list the best albums by each artist?

I see their stuff around all the time! Oakenfold and Tiesto go back a long time, I have CD's of theirs from the late 90's. Most of their compilations are excellent if you like that sort of thing. Oakenfold started his own label - Perfecto, and released stuff on that. Plus also he did some compilations for Global Underground. Tiesto has released *masses* of CD's. Van Buuren has got something new out now I believe. They are the 'big boys' of trance - their stuff is everywhere.

I recommend Tiesto's 'In Search Of Sunrise' series. Very cool trance! If you are into trance there was a label called 'Order Ordonata' that released excellent stuff, inc Oakenfold releases. But this goes back to the early 90's.

What are the top 2 Oakenfold and Armin Van Buuren albums? Also how is Paul Hardcastle?
Oakenfolds "Great Wall" album is great. So is his release for the 'Global Underground' label which is simply called "New York; GU 007". Oakenfold also started his own label called 'Perfecto' and has released some cool compilations on that; "Ibiza" being one of them.

You can't go wrong with GU series. I bought new Armin Buuren Live album - very good.
I like older Paul Van Dyk(Somewhere Out There) and John Digweed's new Transitions Vol 2 and 3 are excellent. Sasha is putting out new singles one at a time...Park It In the Shade, Coma, Who Killed Sparky? are all avail on iTunes.....
