First off, Harrison does own McCartney. Nice. Secondly, I'd say I got pretty tired of Justice really quickly. There's a reason why everyone hates on French House... if it isn't Daft Punk then it's overdone and waayyyy too busy sounding.

I actually like Justice a lot. One of my jobs involves cleaning an office by myself, late a night. When I start to get sleepy, I'll oftentimes put on their album. Same goes for driving late at night. Or when I'm going out. I love it's relentless pace. The album sequenced really well and goes far beyond "D.A.N.C.E.," possibly my least favorite song on the album, behind that one with Uffie (ugh) rapping. But yes, I do like Justice. Very much.

I do like †, but I also don't love it nearly as much as most. It's, y'know, a good, solid album, (other than "D.A.N.C.E." *shudder*) but doesn't feel like anything beyond that to me.

OK, how about dinner and a movie, but skipping the movie? (And the dinner.)

Why not skip the dinner and just go straight to the sex? Anyway "cross" isn't too bad but I did hate d.a.n.c.e. That song just feels out of place on album.

I really don't get the Daft Punk comparisons here. The Punks, especially on Discovery, are very much influenced by 80s synthpop and 70s disco, whereas Justice have a much more distorted feel reminiscent of 90s rave music. I'd say overall Justice has a much more heavy, compressed sound than Daft Punk. Oh, and "Valentine" is about the halfway point on †. This may explain your inability to listen past it.

Now, I'm neither an expert on the French nor houses, but I quite enjoyed †. I especially like "Genesis," "Phantom," "Stress," and "Let There Be Light." The only truly abysmal track, as Benjiru pointed out, is "Tthhee Ppaarrttyy." Like I said, I don't really know shit about electronic music and whether or not Justice should be compared to Daft Punk, but what little I've listened to of Daft Punk can be, while sometimes catchy, painfully repetitive.

Has anyone listened to Alive 2007? It slaps the sh*t out of anything on that cross album (In my ever so humble opinion!)

No, I haven't listened to Alive 2007, but I did see Daft Punk live in 2007, and it was really an awesome show. The only proper album of theirs I have is Homework, so I'll give that another listen today to see if I like it as well as †. Poor Justice...now Daft Punk even looms over their lousy Metacritic forum thread.

Justice is almost more like a rock band in the way their songs sound, but there are some similarities. That "Parrtyyy" song sucks ass. Uffie needs to stop right now.
