I voted for Television. Granted, The Talking Heads had more quality albums, but Television didn't stay together long enough to get that opportunity. Marquee Moon is one of my favorite albums.
Concerning The Ramones - I enjoy hearing their stuff at random times, but I've never once had the desire to throw a Ramones record on and listen all of the way through. Very, very much a singles band for me. Their image was nearly impeccable, but I've never been a big fan of the music.

And c'mon, Rock n Roll High School? Really? It just seems so wrong for a "punk" band. That (and their sound/content) is why I feel that the Ramones layed the foundation for pop punk (I don't think Mark likes this conclusion)

Talking Heads, by a long shot. Although I don't think, even in their earliest incarnation, that TH were punk.

I don't think anyone feels they're punk.. I'd say Post-Punk even though they were right their with that No Wave scene. CBGB featured a bunch of No Wave and Post-Punk acts, not just punk.

I think that's what made the CBGBs scene so damn interesting. None of the four bands in the poll sound remotely like the other.

There were alot of great bands that played at CBGB and aren't listed on there. Bad Brains, Dead Kennedy's, Epoxies, G.G. Allin, NoFx are some punk bands. Then Boomtown Rats, the Police, Dave Matthews Band, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana. Oh, almost forgot Norma Jean the Misfits, and Mindless Self Indulgence. You can't just narrow it down to those 4 bands. Its not that kids don't know enough about rock, its that there arent enough choices for them to vote.
The question is more related the first class of "classic" CBGB bands, DJ.
I had a stick of CareFree gum, but it didn't work. I felt pretty good while I was blowing that bubble, but as soon as the gum lost its flavor I was back to pondering my mortality.

Anyways, while I love DK, Bad Brains, The Misfits, and GG Allin, not one bband you mentioned could hold a candle to Television, Talking Heads, or Patti Smith (she was an original, remember?).
Marquee Moon is a spectacular album, I think better than anything Talking Heads, Patti Smith, or The Ramones put out. But, I don't think Any of those bands released near the amount of great albums as the talking heads, so I'd go with them.
