Do those bands comment on how they raped the music they were "influenced" by?

Okay, someone needs to close this post and smack this guy upside the head for shameless plugging of crap-ass products.

Why come here and tell us about such terrible things?

Automatically entered to win a Squier? Wow, you guys are really pulling out all the stops.... Those cost all of.... $150? I doubt Mike Dirnt would deign to get his hands dirty on a piece of crap like that. Your post is a pretty good indicator that punk is, in fact, dead as Sid Vicious.

My Chemical Romance all cry during their tour bus circle jerks. I can't think of a lamer Beatles rip-off tribute band. How dare you link to anything with their pasty mugs prominently featured.
Let me know when you come out with a Disco's Not Dead DVD. Good call.

It may not be dead as a scene but it is most definitely dead as a movement... and shit like this (not your post; this DVD) is what killed it.

That's not fair. We should all take a moment to reflect on and give Blink 182 their due as the real and ultimate death of the punk movement. It would take a million NOFXs to resurrect it after those hams had their way with it, and a million NOFXs ain't coming.

"Kill All The White Men" covers all that, as much as I loathe the Warped tour and everyone who goes to it.
