I loved them until War On Errorism came out. I think the last 2 albums have almost killed NOFX for me. They were rising to new heights with The Decline and Valuum and then reverted to releasing crap. Oh well... I think So Long... is my favorite NOFX album. I might pick up the new live one. The first live cd is what got me into them 10 or so years ago. Hopefully they turn it around but I think it's time to retire.

My favorite NoFx work is the Longest Line Ep. This was done in 1992 and was the first i heard from the band. I'm 26 now, so yeah that means i have been listening to NoFx since I was 10. This was the first recordings with El Hefe. His Lead guitar helped define their sound bringing it to a more melodic style ( a la Descendents or the Freeze)but the still had their early harder-core edge.. Also it's ska but not too ska, ya' feel me.

Been a NOFX fan for about 15 years now...damn that makes me old. Punk in Drublic, White Trash, Longest Line, So Long..., Ribbed are all great albums. The Decline is absolutely the pinnacle of their career...one long cohesive masterpiece.
I just saw them @ the Music Box here in Los Angeles. Jeff from "Jeff Wears Birkenstocks" was in the house and they played it for him (Mike didn't remember the words). Fat Mike was pretty wasted and in rare form...let's just say the show ended when Fletcher from Pennywise came onto the stage (also wasted) and dived through the drum set. It makes me feel great knowing that they're still doing what they do, playing in front of huge circle pits.
Why don't you make like a computer and get with the program?
