The most popular writer of all time excluding Shakespeare. I have read 11 of her novels,

Death On The Nile - B+

Curtain - A-

And Than There Were None - A+

Murder On The Orient Express- A-

The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd- A

At Bertrams Hotel - C

Appointment with Death - B

Parker Pyne Investigates - B+

The Thirteen Stories - A-

The Mousetrap - B+

Witness for the Prosecution - A

Even though you may not read her now, many did when they were younger. Any favorites? Any comments on her books?

Those last two are plays, not novels...

I consider a play a novel if it is converted into a book.

I love Miss Marple and Murder at the Vicarage as well as The Body in the Library and A Murder is Announced. I've always wanted to live in an English village like St. Mary Mead. Smiler Miss Marple mysteries are like "comfort books" to me. Very well-written comfort books.

I've lost count of how many of her books I have read...I love her to death.

Faves: Evil Under the Sun
The Murder of Roger Akcroyd
Appointment with Death
A Carribean Mystery

This will probably sound incredibly nerdy, but I love reading her books in an environment which reflects the novel itself.
For example, with Death on the Nile, I like to sit in the sun and read, with a house bound tale like Akcroyd, I close the curtains and dim the lights, and feel the ambience...

There you are. begin your mockery.....

It doesn't sound nerdy at all, it sounds fun, however, I did get a mental image of someone on a barge floating down (up?) the Nile, reading, with a stack of books at his side. Smiler
