I just finished watching the teaser for 'Revenge of the Sith' and it looks pretty cool. I like the fact that there is a lot of footage from Episode IV so it connects all of the episodes.

I saw it at "The Incredibles" last night. (good movie, btw). It was pretty awesome. I'd see the movie no matter what anyway, just for closure, but it looked pretty good. Darth Vader action.

I reserve the right to be entirely wrong.

Ever since "Star Wars" came out in 1977, and Lucas described his original intent to make three prequels AND three sequels(now scrapped) to the first three films, I've been waiting to see what the light-sabre duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Annakin Skywalker on the volcano was going to look like. I just got a taste of it at "The Incredibles" and it didn't disappoint me. Hopefully, the whole movie will be an improvement over the last two with more character development.

Also just saw the teaser before The Incredibles. It's owning me right now. I just really hope Hayden doesn't mess around and really shows us his dark side. He showed us he could really act in "Life As A House" and "Shattered Glass", I hope he doesn't let us down here (as he did me in the last one).

Yea, well you see this one? This was my dream, my wish....and it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back, I'm taking them all back.

I saw it in "The Incredibles" as well. Really cool teaser. Can't wait. Darth Vader looked so cool, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

argh...I'm so angry because before "The Incredibles" when the teaser came on, I was trying to find a seat in the packed theatre and wasn't able to concentrate on it. Oh well, I'll see it again.

The dialogue for Episode III was especially lame, and why does that big lizard thing that Obiwan rides around have to make such and annoying sound over and over and over and over.

Lucas practically ruins his movies by doing crap like that. Jar Jar Binks anyone?

Sooooo, talking about Liberal Fascism and attacking music fans got a tad boring for ya and you had to take some swings at Lucas, huh? Well, when it comes to "Star Wars", I CAN (and WILL) go straight up Will Hunting on your @ss! Not the awful jerk part (MAN! That guy was a jerk! Even I wanted to punch him in the mouth! They shoulda called it "Evil Will Hunting".), but his smart side.

Who went for dialogue? THIS WAS HOW ANAKIN BECAME VADER! THIS WAS (nearly) THE END OF THE JEDI! THIS WAS THE EMPEROR AT HIS BEST! That's what I went for anyway. Who goes to a movie called "Star Wars" for talkin'? IT'S ABOUT THE WARS, MAN!!!!

It's called a varactyl and I flippin' love the noise it makes! I take it you don't have very good surround sound to really experience the way it echoes throughout the room. Besides, you're acting like it was in the whole movie, it was LESS THAN 2 minutes out of a movie that is 2 hours and 20 minutes long! Believe me. I know.

I still don't understand everyone's problem with Jar Jar. It's not like he was the center of any of the movies and he was only seen in "Revenge of the Sith". (Well, he said, "Exscuse me." to a big, fat, blue twi'lek senator named Orn Free Taa, but that was it.) Lil' Ani was A WHOOOOOOLE LOT more annoying then Jar Jar and if that isn't what bothered you the most about the first episode then you weren't really watching the movie!

I should add: I have my problems with ALL 6 episodes in the saga, but I can always look past them because I'm really only interested in the story. It's a wonderful story full of danger, courage, romance (but that ain't something I really enjoyed except when it was Han & Leia in "The Empire Strikes Back". This ain't "Star Love", it's "Star WARS", dag-nab-it!), comedy, action, forgivness, redemption and beautiful effects! Lucas really did put together a fantastic and expansive universe and his aliens are alot more creative than Star Trek's. Have you ever checked out Wookieepedia? You could get lost for days learning the backstory of every main character and BACKGROUND CHARACTER of the Star Wars universe!

I will be Supreme Chancellor someday though.
Not with this attitude, buddy! You don't even have the mind control abilities to deceive the Senate into giving you emergency powers! How do I know? You have yet to change a single mind over here or to gain any TRUE supporters over here!

Yeah, I went for dialogue, I went for a decent script that presents characters I care about. Instead I got incredibly lame one liners from Anakin and his unvonvincingly love-struck, pregnant wife Padme. Episode III made Padme look nothing like a dignitary, rather it made her look like knocked up trailer trash.

Natalie Portman's acting in Episode III was quite possibly the worst preformance i've ever seen, in any movie. Her fake crying, her fake sorrow, her pathetic attempts to gain sympathy from the audience. Laughable.

It should've been called "the horselike, lizard creature that makes a noise so annoying that most of the audience said to themselves 'can this fucking thing shut the fuck up already'!" Please excuse the language, but that's exactly what I heard the audience saying, I kid you not.

Jar Jar was freakin' joke. A jamaican sounding alien that speaks pig latin? Are you shitting me? It just goes to show that Lucas lacks style and taste in certain areas. I'm not saying he's not a friggin' genius, i'm just saying, some things are better left up to other people to decide.

Do you know how many people walked out of Episode I saying "what the hell was with that stupid ass Jar Jar character, if I wanted comedy, I would've read Eric's comments in the political thread at Metacritic".

The stupidity of the Jar Jar character almost overshadowed all the good things about Ep I. Just my opinion.

Wait. Wait. Wait. If you've had problems since the first episode, how do you care about the characters? I mean, what made you expect something different from the others? I've noticed quite a few people have said this, but they STILL went to each sequel as it came out! Why throw money at it? You're only adding to the profit margin to ensure the sequels would be made! I don't buy the "It's Like Watching A Train Wreck. You Just HAVE To Watch." defense because I don't WASTE money on watching something I'm sure I'm gonna hate. I do believe you're one who believes in spending your money wisely, ain't that right?

(You forgot to mention that it was also part bird Wink) So the audience had a problem with a noise that lasted LESS THAN 2 minutes? I feel so sorry for those people. They must have a problem with day-to-day life seeing as how there are hundreds of things more annoying than that in the world and they usually last longer than 2 minutes. Gilbert Gottfried and Jay-Z (Wink) come to mind.

What jamaicans have you been listening to? I don't hear any familiar accents in his voice. Or even pig latin, for that matter. As I typed: Jar Jar wasn't the center of the saga, so why does he matter so friggin' much to folks? I could understand if he was Anakin, but he wasn't. Lil' Ani was the worst thing about Episode I. Period. HE'S the one I'm complaining about the entire movie, but I don't let his performance ruin the experience. I'm in it for the story and the story is good! I mean, how do you deny the snazzy of Palpatine's plan to become Supreme Chancellor? That guy was a freakin' genius!

There's comedy in all six films! Some funnier than others, but there's comedy! Yes. Jar Jar was an EXTRA dose of it, but it wasn't THAT BAD! Especially since they really toned down his involvment by Episode III. I don't even know why Jar Jar is apart of this discussion since he's only seen twice in this one... and he only speaks 2 words! ("Exscuse me.") Confused

I STILL say it was lil' Ani! I do notice you used the word "almost", so why all the hatred? You have a problem with the dialogue (pretty much the same in all 6 episodes), the noise the varactyl makes (for less than 2 minutes) and Jar Jar (who's relevance vanishes by the third episode). These don't seem to be big enough problems for someone to say the movies are crap. Not if they watched all 6. I mean, I couldn't stand "Harry Potter" and I only went to see the first 3 because I was dragged there by my wife. However, after 3 doses of the LEAST CLIMATIC ENDINGS I've ever watched in my ENTIRE life, she couldn't pay me to go back! That's what happens when I don't like the way a story is being told. Forget what happens to him later, he couldn't keep me interested for 3 freakin' movies! So why did everyone else HAVE to see the entire Star Wars Saga if they weren't really enjoying it? It just makes no sense to me.
