I don't really have any new info or links about this movie, but it'll be out pretty soon, so I thought I should go ahead and start a topic about it. I was actually surprised there wasn't a REAL topic about this yet. Anybody have anything new or interesting to say about Revenge of the Sith?

If you want up to date news on Star Wars, head on over to www.supershadow.com and take a look at all his stuff! While you're over there, check out his girlfriend!
The previews make ROTS look decent. Growing up with the original trilogy, I found the first of the new ones absolutely wretched. Were I not with a group of people (a few of whom actually liked it), I would have walked out.
I hated the first one so much, I never bothered to see the second, even when it was on HBO. I may have to rent it now so I can see the third.

pE, I was no big fan of the Episode I, but Attack of the Clones was much, much worse. The worst acting and dialogue I have ever seen, bar none. I'll probably see the third out of obligation, but I don't expect much.

Revenge of the Sith (You know who, you know when, Grade: A-)
Mini-mini review: The drama and dialogue are much-improved over the previous two films, but there's still way-too-many missed chances at raising it up to the truly tragic level. However, as far as action, special effects, in-house metaphors, spectacle, and overall entertainment value, there aren't too many stones left unturned. I'll come back later after others have had their say.

I made it to the opening showing in Alaska, it was AMAZING. I just can't believe how incredibly dark it was. I can't rave enough about it, I suggest everyone go and see it.
What I do not understand as a dutch star wars fan is how so many people go see a movie just to slag it off in a 10 page review as if to prove how "intellectual" or something they are. If you do not like star wars, don't go. I saw it this afternoon for the second time with my son and for me it was absolutely awesome. The merciless killing of the jedi even brought a tear in my eye. I saw the old trilogy in the theatre in the seventies and aighties and I think this movie surpasses them. Obviously this is no godfather but these characters are supposed to live on a galaxy far far away so if they have dialogue more suitable for fifties style movies, so what?

Yeah, I just saw it last night. Excellent. uch better than I expected. There were still glimpses of the terrible dialogue and corny scenes that ruined Episode 2, but those moments were much shorter and not as bad. Sometime, I'm gonna take 3 days and watch two movies a day, just to grasp the whole thing. How epic.

Well done George. I suppose episode I and II make more sense now. I guess I will be a little more forgiving on them after seeing III and the enormous spectacle that it is. I loved every second of it. And the saber fights?...all I have to say is...
YODA IS ONE BAD LITTLE DUDE!!!

Yea, well you see this one? This was my dream, my wish....and it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back, I'm taking them all back. -Face
Well I saw it and I am very pleased! The opening sequence is very action packed but still has the cheezy diolouge and writing. It's great to see the whole epic fall into pieces and this one does a great job of putting the puzzle together!
I would give it 9.2/10

Certainly the best of the 3 prequels, and what I had been hoping for them to look like all along. The first where the digital environments blended pleasingly with the characters. More emotion than the first two in both humour and tragedy. Improved acting generally, and less of the (still) weak dialogue overall. The film had better pacing, and I was very surprised I didn't need a washroom break during the 2 and a half hours, especially considering it was a last minute decision to go to the late show after having had a few beers! I was pleased and I will probably see it one more time in the theatre. Also, Darth Vader's Frankenstein impersonation is priceless!

This is the Star Wars movie I've been waiting to see since the darker ESB. I hated episode I, liked II - but this one is the one I've been craving for. Dark dark dark - wow, what a way to wrap it up and tie it all back into Episode 4 so neatly and complete. I think anyone that has enjoyed even 1 star wars movie should go see this one.
