Wow, I am an idiot, I will be joining all of the fat fanboys (okay, stereotype since I'm not fat) on the street 4 hours early to get a good seat, tomorrow midnight, for the premier of STAR WARS EPISODE III. Yes! Midnight! That means I won't have to deal with little children screaming and crying at the screen.... oh who am I kidding, I'll probably cry and scream at the screen. Who else is goin?!!?
Thankfully, terms like "Dorky" are getting used less and less to describe those who: 1)Play video games 2)Are more than capable with a computer 3)Worship the greatness that is the original "Star Wars" series.
I would love to be one of the first to see the film, but the paycheck I got recently has been stretched as far as it can go. I will just have to watch it next Friday. Enjoy Nickel!

I don't begrudge anyone their personal attachments and joys. I've got geeky friends into comics and toys, others (like me) into music. If Star Wars gets your motor running, more power to you. I HATED Episode One. I didn't see Ep 2 in the theatres, but I rented it recently and it wasn't too bad. My curiosity is adequately piqued for the new one...I'll go see it. But I'll wait a week or two and let the fans have their shot at it.
