I mean ok KZ2 is not a perfect game , but when there are 43 reviewers that think the game is worth at least an 8/10 (actually only 2 out of 43 reviewers rated it below 9/10) then , damn it , 7/10 seems rather EXTREMELY harsh and may i add biased...
Also dont forget that according to edge halo 3 is 10/10 and pretty much every 360 game is awesome , while ps3 sux.Yeah i guess it is one of the retarded reasons that propagate the argument "PS3 haz no gamez!"
Well no matter , let them deduct a point from every ps3 exclusive.To my eyes their opinion is ignored.When 99% of the reviewers rate a game between 9/10 and 10/10 ,and you are giving it a 7/10 something is clearly wrong...

I'm sure, if you looked, you would find equivalent errors for other platforms, and certainly high review scores for PS games from Edge bloody Magazine.
Edge have always been tough markers, on EVERYTHING. pointing to one xbox game (Halo) is not enough to make a point. Anyone who has picked that magazine up knows that they are tough markers. I think it's great - it's nice to have something a bit more critical on the go.

When it gets to the stage that you are creating conspiracy theories about biased marikng systems, you really need to just recognise that it is you who is biased, and it is you who is taking one side and fighting for the recognition of one console over all the others.
The PS3 has had a great run of games lately, and all have gotten widespread recognition and praise.
Edge gave Little Big Planet 10/10. Why? Because it's a great game. So maybe, just maybe, one or two sites don't think Killzone 2 is worthy of 9/10 or more. If you can't live with that, you may have an issue. seriously.
well they also gave gears of war 2 a 9. they complained about story in killzone 2, yet what about gears? and halo 3 does NOT have a reputable story either, just a notable atmosphere to the game. maybe not even that. Edge may not have been biased for some games, but with a heavy-fanboy sided game like killzone 2, even Edge fell in line to pick a side.

Ok , am i the ONLY ONE to see a pattern here??!? 90% of PS3 exclusive reviews from Edge are 1 whole point down from the general critics concesus!Is it just me?I dont have a problem with Edge reviews of 360 games.They are most of the time spot on (except mass effect).
My problem is that they seem to HAMMER every ps3 exclusive game , compared to the majority of critics!They have dropped KZ2 1 whole point on metacritic , resist2 by 2 points , mgs4 by 1,5 points etc etc.We are talking about massive difference, not just 0.2-0.3
I mean ok , 1 time , i can understand.2 times is ok.3 times is still ok , but when it is 5 or 10 times , then i am sorry but its a frigging issue!So ok , call me crazy my friend , but i am sorry , i see a certain pattern here , and one that is completely BIASED to my eyes , and i think, to most "rational" eyes...

actually valkyre 1 point difference doesn't massively show fanboyism, but they still have enough of your 'strikes' to prove that something fishy is going on. major games such as metal gear solid 4, killzone 2, valkyria chronicles, and resistance 2 (6, are we for real?) were reviewed VERY harshly. that was a good post though, valkyre.
I have to wait until I receive the issue before I can post that one.
speaking of which how come the game informer review for Killzone 2 has already been added but the Star ocean 4, Halo wars, and Race pro reviews haven't?
the gaming community will see Edge for what they are. the recent article "is Metacritic harming the gaming industry" that appears in issue 199 along the the controversial KZ2 review just shows how times have changed, and the community is seeing that they are not only antiquated with reviews, but out of touch.
the other segments of the magazine are pretty top end, so it is my belief they will learn from this and try to be more objective while reviewing ps3 games.
thanks again Marc for showing the industry that Metacritic isn't some gimmick, it is the new standard, and there couldn't be a better games editor behind it all.
