NBA 08 came out on Tuesday, anyone planning on picking it up?

I picked up NBA 2K8 and i havent put it down besides to sleep or work lol. What i love about it is the realism, if you are wide open for a 3 you wont automatically drain just because, and if you have a guy in your face you might as well try and get back on D cause theres a fast break inc.

The only big flaw i have with this game is the player control defense is nonexistent. You cannot keep up in the paint outside the paint or anywhere with any player 1 on 1. I find myself switching players so the computer can pick up the ballhandler cause his D is so much better than mine. I think that may come with time tho, but if you like realistic play, great presentation, and just plain fun check out 2k8.

p.s i see you work for sony but don't let that deter you lol. i supported them by waiting 2 yrs to buy the system. Now i want any game that is fun.

I hear ya. 2K8 has been getting really good peer reviews. I'm faithful to the PS3 version of NBA 08 though. I'm lovin' the graphics, especially with the implementation of full HD 1080p!
In addition, the game play is less confusing than 2K8 to me.
