I've only played the demo but that was still quite good. Everyone is raving about it, though, so i would assume that it would be worth getting. Besides, you can get it pre-owned now for about 25 quid. Or there's always ebay if you're looking for a cheaper alternative.

There are already two threads containing information on "Mercanaries." This is what I said in them:
quote:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Mercenaries" (XBOX)-This one is "Grand Theft Auto" during war time. You can do whatever you want, blow up buildings for no purpose whatsoever, shoot anybody regardless of alliances, and blow up random bridges. It is incredibly fun.
When comparing it to GTA there are many similarities. A) While not doing missions you can free roam Korea. B) You can complete missions any way that you want (Sniper out bad guys, run them over, close-combat machine guns) C)You work for everybody, the allies and the enemy.
In addition, to this really cool stuff they add to it by giving you a responsive environment, you can blow up almost anything. They have a "Deck of 52" bounties that you can either kill for half of the bounty or caputure alive and send for air support for the entire bounty.
There are a couple things that I dislike as well. A) You can go over various mountains, but occasionally you get stuck behind bushes that will not move. B) The "Deck of 52" members cannot be found unless you get a tip after completing a mission and even then it can be difficult.
Overall, it is an excellent game. 85/100
Normally I would get all angry and tell you to read the terms of services, but I guess I have to let is slide because you are both new. Welcome to the site and I look forward to much more discussion with you both.
