Enoch,
I understand what you are saying about Halo 3, and I have been here for quite awhile trying to support the ps3 and ps3 exclusives, but you've got to look at this from another angle.
Killzone 2 could have gotten ripped apart by the media and then where would we be? Thankfully, the hype for Killzone 2 was so strong, that when GG delivered the review builds with better graphics than the E3 trailer, it sobered the majority of the media up to the fact that the ps3 isn't going anywhere this generation. All the doom and gloom of last November is gone, and even the January NPD spin cannot take away from the Killzone 2 machine.
So I understand in your eyes that this is a better title than Halo 3, but honestly, Halo 3 is a great game. It may not be as gritty or realistic, but I was an original Xbox owner solely because of Halo, and Bungie did a terrific job of meeting expectations with Halo 3. Bungie are great devs, and they threw everything they could into Halo 3, so while I can see your take on this, you have to see the 93 for KZ2 as a major victory in this console war.
Sony may not come in first, but they certainly are going to give Microsoft a run for 2nd, and with 2009 looking like Sony has all the games, please know that KZ2 doesn't need to beat Halo 3 on Metacritic for it to be a huge game, and a huge momentum shift for the ps3 and it's gamers.
As a gamer, we shouldn't be worried about this platform vs that platform, we should be worried about good games getting fair scores, no matter what platform they are on.

fair enough. But it's just been a minor, and i mean a very minor, nuisance in my opinion. And i definitely agree, Halo 3 is not a bad game by any means - its gotten the billions of fans and userbase because of its ingenuity. But it just simply is not my kind of game, and i will stand by that fact even if it makes me look like a fanboy. And I do not think anyone is seeing killzone 2 as a major victory/defeat, its just a game, like you said. but hey, after all that said, i'm satisfied with the 92%. so do you have a psn, gamer20?
