Hello I'm new to these boards.

I was hoping some of you could give me a good game suggestion. I currently only have a PS2, and I was remembering how fun Zelda was on N64. I don't have many "action/adventure" games and was hoping I could get some titles. Something similar to that style of game, and that genre.

Thanks!!

My best advice for you would be to simply use Metacritic's Advanced Search Engine for Games. Go ahead and select PS2, the genre (RPG, etc.), and request the results come out in score order. You should be able to generate a pretty solid list of games of your liking.

Yeah too bad, GameCube would've been great for games like...Zelda. Roll Eyes

This is for joe_hoax

Try the Jak Trilogy. These games are awesome, but I have to warn you, Jak and Daxter(the first game) is the worst!

I hope this helped.

What kind of games do you like?

I reserve the right to be entirely wrong.

You say you like action-adventure games, but can you stomach RPGs? If so, give Shadow Hearts: Covenant a try.

It's the sequel to a quality RPG a few years back that had an original setting (a fantasy version of the real world, circa early-to-mid twentieth-century, with monsters, demons and the like thrown in), a unique turn-based/real-time combination of a battle system and a throughly likable cast of characters.

This one is probably even better.

As a side-note, has anyone else played it?

Good suggestion? God of War is the the 'thing' everyone whispers about and The warriors should be a very good game too. Something like final fight but a little bit better Smiler
