What do you think the future holds for us in the next version of the PSP? Will it be slightly larger than its predecessor like the PlaySTation models? Will it have a small hard drive? Will it have (most importantly) two thumbsticks? I'll write my predictions and hopes and you can post your thoughts on the matter.

I'm pretty sure it will have two thumbsticks, thats something the fans have been screaming for. I also think it might use Blu-ray UMDs (If anyone wants to crunch the numbers, figure out how many gigs a Blu-Ray UMD could hold: current UMD: 1.8 GB). I also think it will support Bluetooth headphones and other accessories. I have a slim hope that it will also have four shoulder buttons, instead of the two we have now.

So tell me what you think.

The blu-ray assumption is kind of childish, since there is no literal way to calculate the data storage. UMD Isn't same as DVD, or CD, it's just another optical storage capacity.

and there is probably no way blu-ray can make it to portable with a battery powered device, (that lasts long to the favorable consumer i mean).

Two thumb sticks are definately a go for Sony..
I suggest... flip down R2/L2... (You click it, and a R2/L2 flips down, then if you want to close it back up, just push it up then it cliks into place)

Bluetooth, Internal FLASH Storage not Harddrive, Bluetooth modem, phone capability.

Multi-touch technology will be nice if can be manufactured (NO APPLE DOES NOT OWN MULTITOUCH technology), along with built in Camera and GPS.

And a higher resolution screen. (720x480)

Graphics terms, bumpmapping (normal mapping), speculate, antialiasing would be nice. Processor and RAM without increasing space or heat generation is VERY possible since 65nm, 45nm transistors have come along.

Of course... a very handy neat, easy to use, responsive, UI/Operating System.

That will seriously kill anything... (If it has cellular capabilities.. oh god)

Pricing should be $250 to $300
