I actually hadn't heard anything about the game until a few days ago. Then I noticed it has a Metascore of 97 (!). Needless to say, that was enough to pique my interest.
So, what's the game (demo, rather) like? A cursory look at the Metacritic page told me that it's a Greek mythology-based third-person action game, but what makes it so great? What other games would you liken it to?

I'm going to pick up a copy of it pretty quick. I'll have more on it after that.

Yes, Yes, I've heard God of War is probably one of the best games out right now and possibly one of the greatest for the PS2, but what happened to Devil May Cry 3. I know that game is a lot harder, and I feel the need to beat the crap outta that game, just so I can get fustrated and psyched up to beat it. A lot of games are getting easier to beat (probably because gaming is appealing to more different ages) but I want a game that I have a hard time beating. I want another Ninja Gaiden. Devil May Cry 3 might be my answer.
Well, I beat it and, like "Fable," it is an excellent game, but far too short. Although the plot was decent it seemed simplistic and really limited the game to three different levels. The graphics are, I would say, the best to ever come out of the PS2 and the animation is terrific. But it is still very short.

Yes, it´s a great game. I´m half way thru it but i have already recommended to all my Ps2 pals. Did you like Prince of Persia, Lord of the Rings, Soul Reaver...? Then Go get it!

Probably one of the best games on ps2. Once I picked this game up, I couldn't stop playing it...it was just too good. I was disappionted that it was over so quickly, but after beating the 10 challenges of the gods, the costumes drew me back in. The costumes, such as the Dairy....well you know, are fun because you can relax (to some extent) during the game. To those who beat it on god mode...you're an animal . I still can't beat the last boss on hard mode with the cow character. Anyway, that's my 2 cents. Oh yeah, who is psyched about GOD of WAR II, March 13 this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (yes, all those exclamation points are necessary).
Oh yeah, and as a side note, I have beaten it in under 5 hours (with the cow character) and (I think) about 9 hours with kratos....yes on easy mode .....come on it's fun
