I know I've been posting a lot of these Playstation discussions EVEN THOUGH I don't have a PS2 or a PS3, but actually I'm interested in the PS3. (Ha...ha..)


Okay. Joke's over. Now, of course, the PS3 has excellent games. The reason why I posted "Top 10 PS3 Games" rather than "Top 5 PS3 Games" because there are a few games which are extremely great for the PS3 and that's biased. (e.g. Grand Theft Auto 4, Infamous, Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet)

REMEMBER! IT'S PS3 GAMES, NOT PS2 GAMES!!!

I've owned a PS3 since just after launch and the only games I own for that system are PS3 exclusives, everything else is X360. So, my whole collection wouldn't even fit a top ten list. In order of purchase:
1. Resistance:Fall of Man
2. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
3. Metal Gear Solid 4
4. Resistance 2
5. Killzone 2
6. Infamous
7. Wipeout Pure (DL only)
8. Flow (DL only)
9. Flower (DL only)
10. Little Big Planet (don't have yet, but plan on buying next!)

Another older game that I really want to play, but haven't bought yet is "Ratchet and Clank Future:Tools of Destruction". It was recently added to $30 Greatest Hits collection, so I'll probably pick that one up soon, too.

Hmmm... Been a while since I've considered a personal "Best of" list. Like JonahStein, I've owned PS3 since just after launch (I've since gained 4 more for LAN parties; and I have 360--which really needs to find its way to eBay). ;-) I also have upwards of 70 games for PS3, not including download-only.

There's so many ways you can cut a "best of" game: is it best for party? best for LAN? best for single player? ....And, you're always going to bias toward what you're recently 'hot' on. But, my list below (in no particular order, mind you) I'll give a focus for the reason for inclusion in parenthesis...

1) Motorstorm (still beats even the sequel)
2) Monsters (hopelessly addictive 1player)
3) Resistance2 (an 8-player co-op dream)
4) Rock Band 2 (ultimate party fun)
5) Killzone2 (stunning 1st person realism)
6) Little Big Planet (nothing more original)
7) Midnight Club LA (top driving in 1080p)
8) Pain (one of best originals)
9) Stranglehold (really underrated title)
10) Virtua Tennis 3 or 2009 (great 4-player)

...and I wish I could go on. I'm sure I'm overlooking some gems. Heck, things like Heavenly Sword and Super Stardust HD are already coming to mind. There's a LOT to love on this system. Reviews have been so harsh from the start, for no good reason. Games are so much easier to launch/use/share on PS3/PSN than 360/Live, too (even when talking multi-platform games). No small point.

'm playing Batman right now and it is wickedly addictive....best right now because I'm playing it.....Finished Uncharted a few months back and can't wait for the sequel. In the middle of LBP, not quite through Fallout 3, and Dead Space is excellent but stuck near the end of Chapter 2 and haven't revisited for about 6 months...(excellent new horror, and will eventually get back to it). Metal Gear 4 is best looking but stuck last summer and also haven't revisited since 2008. hmmmmmmmmmmm...now for top 10....

1. Uncharted Drake's Fortune - addictive and finished in a week.

2. Batman Arkam's Asylum - because I can't stop thinking about playing again when i've just turned the system off.

3. Metal Gear 4 - need to get back to this and finish...(some day)

4. Fallout 3 - to big for me and back and forth, but got into it for awhile

5. Dead Space - bored of Silent Hill, and afraid to try Resident Evil 5 after playing the boring demo...

6. NHL09 - need my sport fix

7. Little Big Planet - lots o fun

8. Dark Sector - underrated... I loved the weapons and almost finished.....very cheap to get right now and recommend it.

10. God of War 3 - soon to be #1 once released next year!!!

My list of the top ten PS3 games are all exclusive titles, so call me a fanboy if you will but all these games at least deserve a try.

Call of Duty is Rocking in PS3. The Clarity is something advanced which I never seen in any Games.
