Normally I'd take it apart and clean the glass eye...
nah it isn't modded, I guess my house is just really dusty. and blue disks cleaning the lens?? well that would be cool but i dont c how it would work unless if they spin so fast that they create a tornado that sucks the dust outta ur ps2!~!
Obviously, your PS2 is angry at you, and that's why it refuses to read your disk. See, you must have done something to it to make it mad, such as playing another system more often, hanging out with friends rather than playing the PS2, or using it to play games like Shrek and Army Men. You have to treat it with respect. Don't stomp on it, because then it'll dislike you more. Don't shoot it, because you'll kill it, and no one likes a dead PS2 around the house. Don't spit at it, because it's a rude, yet sissy approach, so your PS2 won't be afraid or intimidated and will continue to not read your disks. Also, don't go into it and clean the ray lense, because then it knows that you're trying to pry into their business. That or disect them. So give it a bubble bath. That shows that you care for it, by lathering it in a nice, warm bath. This is obviously the best solution.

My PS2 once had this problem. It wouldn't play DVD PS2 games, in my case. I fixed it myself, which is awesome because it works now AND I'm proud of myself.
I still strongly suggest to give it a bubble bath. I also forgot a step to give you, but when you do give it a bath, make sure it's plugged in and on, and that you're in the tub the same time the PS2 is in.
i would give it a bath to and take one with it if i was emo and im not so i guess im not going to be doing that anythime soon but all u emo kids go and take a bath with your ps2 when its plugged in and on
