I've only played it for about three hours. I like it. The battle system is fun and original, it's quite aesthetically impressive, and the storyline seems promising. Give it a go.

its my first time to play one of the star ocean series (so:tot). i think im near the end of disc 1. this game is like a combination of Kingdom hearts (free movement in battle), ff7(youll get the ff7 feeling when barging in houses), ffx(map exploration), shadow hearts 2(of course the never-ending dungeons, i find it similar though SH2:C is complex bec. of the graphics). dungeons=fun here lol
there's so much you can do here so its really fun and worth playin. imo
SO3 has fantastic gameplay. And there are four difficulty levels and two huge bonus dungeons with a few bosses that are really hard in the 'normal' setting called Galaxy. So there's more replay than just about any other RPG I've ever played. After you beat it it keeps on challenging and challenging you.

Excellent game. There is so much to do. U'll easilly fall in love with the characters. The story is excellent with a twist at the end. The only thing I found annoying was the Item Creation process. Sometimes getting the right stuff to show up took a good 20 minutes. Not to mention the inventors who would become available and invent one thing and get 4500 points from that one item. Other than that i'd have to say it is definatly worth it to play through its once or twice or 9 times, whatever :P

i like the game i might buy it wean i have enuf money. i like to wop ass and take names in any RPG, SO3 dose have its problem, but thay make up for it in other areas of the game, dunges are also harder in this game also, wich kinda sucks. but al in all its a GG
