I have tried to watch all of the Halloween movies but Hallowen 3: The Curse of the Which has nothing to do with the other Halloween movies but I am getting ready to watch Halloween 3: The curse of Micheal Myers but wasn't produced untill 1995. Halloween 4 I think was produced in 1988. How is that possible? Does anyone know what happen or why they are a couple of Halloween 3s.
I had exactly the same problem...very confused, we need to research this, that film sucked and it was completely about loony people, not Michael Myers, hmmmm

"Halloween III: Season of the Witch" is best consumed late at night, during some impromptu screening imposed on you by the scheduling of the Sci-Fi channel or some other likewise network. It'll still be bad, but you'll get some cult interest from this third entry in the original franchise.
As for Myers' absence, well, the producers and respective rights holders (of the Halloween series) were still trying to pry money from the paws of teens and early twentysomethings who'd seen the first two films. The creators knew that their target audience had seen Myers' eyes shot out by Curtis in the second film, and so they couldn't bring him back so soon. They had to embark down another plot line for "Halloween III", which played on the theme that wearing masks can bring out your inner psychopath.
It was a damn sight more noteworthy than "Halloween 4", which brought back Myers for an audience who weren't so wise to his fate in the second movie.
