" To what extent have women's roles in horror movies changed during the 90's, taking into consideration the emerging empowerment of women in the work place and "girl power"? "
Films such as "Scream" , “the Descent” "halloween h20", "i know what you did last summer" took on females as lead heroines and showed women to be strong confident and powerful, but do they defeat the villain in a more logical way or represent women as clumsy and use their looks to kill?
