Is anyone as bummed out as I am that Robert Englund isn't playing Freddy in the NOES remake? I mean, the guy has been Freddy for 8 movies!

Anyways, whos excited about it?! This could be an amazing remake IF they do it right! Any thoughts?

Unlinke many film fans out there, I don't mind remakes in general. Freddy scared the hell out of me when I was young. I'd love to see a great remake or reinvisioning (not another sequel) of these. I liked Halloween (2007)by Rob Zombie. I wouldn't mind more background on Freddy to help acclimate us to the new actor and tone of the movie. I think the movie could be completely badass if done correctly. Whatever they do, I'm ready to be afraid of Freddy again Wink
