I did vote for "Silence of the Lambs" since I think that's a no-brainer, even though I had some major problems with the logic of the actual ending, but otherwise it's top-notch. Now, I have a few other comments to make. Why isn't "Manhunter", the first Hannibal film, in the poll? It was later remade as "Red Dragon." I guess I actually liked all the Hannibal films, although I didn't bother to see the last two in the theatres. I was VERY surprised how much I liked "Hannibal." It's basically a black comedy, and that ending with Hannibal and Ray Liotta's character sitting at the dinner table is about as "black" as any "funny" scene I've ever seen. I also thought "Red Dragon" was pretty pumped up, considering I'd already seen Michael Mann tell the same story 16 years earlier, only with Brian Cox as Hannibal.

I think that all of the movies were okay. But I have a bias opinion due to the fact of reading all three of the books. They ruined the ending of Hannibal though. I thought that they did an average job with red dragon ---------------------------------- Employee of the month awards are the opiate of the masses. For the potheadsGang Starr
