I just read that Chris Cornell left the band. Might not be the end of the band, but come on, you really can't replace a lead singer as easily as replacing a guitarist/bassist/drummer. Maybe he isn't gone for good, who knows?

Assuming the band is done, I think they still had a lot of untapped potential that will go to waste. I managed to see them live once and was very impressed. And they could obviously put out at least three hit songs per album. Anyone got any late breaking news, feel free to post it here.

I think they're reforming Rage against the machine. This can only be a good thing.

I never liked Audioslave, ever. Rage against the Machine, was a far better group that was far more political and had intensity incomparable to Audioslave.

I think Tom Morello and company are the Van Halen of the 90s/00s. Maybe they'll try out a third lead singer (is Scott Weiland free?) fail again, and try to recapture their glory days with either Zack, Chris, or both.

None more Black

hmm, I heard that they're reforming for one concert, I think it was the next Coachella, but that they wouldn't stay together after that.

Can't say that I'd be sad to see them throw it in. Their first album had a couple of decent songs, but since then they've been pretty much awful. Cornell and Morello just are not a good fit for eachother. Both were much better in their past outfits.
