Hey - are there any T.Rex fans out there? Just got the remastered 'Electric Warrior'album in a sale.It is great and shows just what a unique talent Marc Bolan was. Nobody around today makes music as sexy and brilliant as 'Get It On' or 'Jeespter'. The extra tracks are great too - showing songs in recording progress - amazing!

Yes, I am a big fan of that brief period when Bolan was running hot. Electric Warrior & The Slider are both excellent albums. There are also great singles after this period which are among the best 70's pop songs.
Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been, Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene; As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be, So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.

Anything out there by them worth getting other than Electric Warrior and Slider?
You've probably got the best of them there, although I reckon "Think Zinc" is close to his best song. Problem is, it's on Zinc Alloy and the Hidden Riders of Tomorrow, which is not his best album.

Tanx is respectable. Those three are the essentials from what I've heard. I also have the album called T. Rex, which still has some hippy dippy wizardish overtones, but its good if you have a taste for the ridiculous.
