I love Led Zep, but in this scenario, Bohemian Rhapsody wins handily.
"If it were beneficial, their father would produce children already circumcised from their mother. Rather, the true circumcision in spirit has become profitable in every respect." -Jesus, from the Gospel Of Thomas
I'd have to go with Bo Rhap. Zep's great, but I'm really not a fan of Stairway. Maybe I've heard it too many times. This is fun though, you should come up with more battles of great songs.

Gonna have to go with Bohemian Rhapsody. Stairway is Epic, but Rhapsody just has so much in it that it kind of wins out against the repetitive sounds in Stairway. (Even if the last 2 minutes of Stairway are amazing.)

I'd have to go with Stairway, though I also give mad props to Bohemian Rhapsody. The problem with comparing them is that one is a rock band playing rock and the other a rock band playing sort of an opera/rock blend.
Actually, it's probably more of a tie.

I'd take Led Zep's "Stairway" over Queen's "Rhapsody".
However, I prefer Dread Zeppelin's cover of "Stairway to Heaven" over the original and Grey DeLisle's version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" over the original. That said, I'd take Ms DeLisle's cover over Dread Zep's cover.

I feel morally obligated to go with Queen on this one. The track is, probably, one of the most unique in the entire history of rock and it has a far more thematic feel to it than does Zep's "Stairway to Heaven." If one were to give me the option of these two songs to listen to at any given moment 90 out of 100 times I would choose "... Rhapsody."

Exactly, it is just special. I heard somewhere that that song was the longest single of all time and for it to be so long it is so dang good. It was then corrected that actually "Hey Jude" is the longest single of all time, but "Bohemian Rhapsody" should actually have that title because it was written to be that long whereas "Hey Jude" just has a lot of hooping and hollering to prolong it. As much as I love Paul McCartney I rather hear the end of "Bohemian Rhapsody" than listen to him yell "Hey Jude, a-Jude, a-Judey, Judey, Judey" over and over and over...
