Personally, I love the Beatles. Especially, Revolver, Rubber Soul, and The Magical Mystery Tour. I can't take too much of their early albums, but I enjoy the early pop songs when put onto a mix tape or disc. Hating Yoko Ono only reveals that you are a selfish individual.

Is this some kind of a trick question? Now there are several posters whom I dearly respect but I don't respect them as much as The Beatles. From creation to destruction, there has never been, and I dare say, will never be, anything to compare to The Beatles. True, I grew up with them, and know of where I speak, but so did several others. Please, don't feel any need to change your minds, but at least before you respond again, please check out "Help!", "Rubber Soul", "Revolver", Sgt. Pepper", "Magical Mystery Tour", "The Beatles", "Abbey Road", and "Let it Be". If you live in U.S.A., check out "Hey, Jude." Anyone who has actually listened to The Beatles and thinks that somebody else is better is in danger of screwing up all their friends, as well as themselves. Anyway, later gator and after while, crocodile.

yes, yes, yes, they were extremely influential, but does that mean you have to like them? NO! I like many things more than them and I appreciate that they made me able to hear it, but I just don't like them.

I'm with you, Minty. I don't enjoy that noisy rock and/or roll music kids listen to these days. I'll stick with my Pat Boone and Perry Como albums. Now THAT'S good listenin'!

I love The Beatles. Most of my younger friends think that they're old and bad, which I don't understand, but they are kids. I do have one friend who probably loves them as much as I do, but her favorite band would have to be Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The Beatles are a truely awesome and unique band. My father has all of their albums on vinyl, and I listen to them often.

! For me the beatles are a story equal to the story of creation itself. It shocks me that there are people out there who still don't want to have Been beatles. Its love and magic embodied, a modern day fountain of youth... Whenever i listen to their bbc sessions or earlier recordings, their love and energy kills me with joy. like a little school girl, i gush over their story, am in awe at what they did. quote: Anyone who has actually listened to The Beatles and thinks that somebody else is better is in danger of screwing up all their friends, as well as themselves.

hell yes, they are one of my fave bands, john lennon is especially good, and you can't go past paul McCartney,. But i tend to think that lennon was the dominent vocalist with paul tagging behind... When it comes to influence the beatles are the top of the game, in their time bands would mainly only play the easy-to-do pop tunes, but the beatles revolutionised this by attempting the 'harder' guitar sounds and winning! does anyone agree?

How much of their catalog have you actually listened to, considering you can't even spell their name?
