This is my new obsession....A combination of 80's glam rock and 70's disco-sleaze, somehow the "Scissor Sisters" seem fresh and new at the same time as being a complete throw backs to the "good ol' days". If youre looking for something nostalgic, perhaps, and you throw up everytime everytime you hear that one "Darkness" song--try "Scissor Sisters". I like em'. Any other fans? Or am I all alone. I know most of you hate "The Darkness"--a band I happen to like. But, the "Scissor Sisters" got a metascore of 71.....heh so did "Permission to Land".
Personally I enjoy both The Darkness and Scissor Sisters quite a lot! Scissor Sisters as I have posted elsewhere absolutely kicked ass live! I really enjoy the album, with the exception of the first song, and I love all the bootleg songs available on the internet. Bicycling With The Devil cracks me up, and the cover of Franz Ferdinand's Take Me Out is great! I really look forward to great things from this band!
