As for REM, its #1/#2 for Murmur and New Adventures in HiFi
I always thought Joshua Treewas a great listen. I never thought that I'd hear songs like "Where the Streets Have No Names," "Bullet the Blue Sky," and "In God's Country" described as "dull". Nice to see some love for New Adventures . . though. That's my favorite REM album. If I had to do a down and dirty top 5, I'd say: 1. New Adventures . . . 2. Automatic for the People 3. Reveal (loved the sonics on this one) 4. Life's Rich Pagent 5. Green I'm not familiar with too much of the IRS stuff, but I'll have to check it out.

I recently listened to Automatic... for the first time, and was kind of unimpressed. Then again, nothing R.E.M. has done has really, really impressed me, except maybe "The Great Beyond," that song they made for the Man on the Moon movie.
------ Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.
