As far as i know there isn't a topic devoted to them, though I could be mistaken.
I'm a pretty new fan and i noticed that there is a division between people who started listening to MM when "Float On" came out and the die-hard fans who strongly prefer their indie days.
I'd have to put myself in the former category, I love the two newest albums, but I also see the appeal of the older music. One of the songs on an early CD of theirs was apparently recorded on an answering machine. (that's what someone said on iTunes)
Some of my favorite Modest Mouse songs: Float On, Ocean Breathes Salty, Fire It Up, Dashboard, Spitting Venom, The World at Large, We've Got Everything.
Anyone have an opinion on the new stuff vs. old stuff thing?
