I'll go with Bohemian Rap for this one, hands down, even though I am a very big Zep fan.
If it was Bohemian Rhapsody vs. the last two minutes of Stairway, I'd take Stairway...but over the years and the many, many listens, the first 75% of Stairway is Lame-O. It makes Sufjan look manly. The solo is awesome, so is the "And as we wind on down the road..." part.
Everytime I hear Bo Rap, I listen, when Stairway comes on, I think...ugh, and switch the station.
I think Queen gets extra points because of Wayne's World. Who here doesn't head bang at the "for MeEEEEEEE" part or at least consider it? Every single time I hear that song, the head-banging comes to mind. I'm not worthy.

I can see putting a few different Led Zeppe songs in the category of top best songs ever (I'm partial to goin to california and bron y aur stomp... and communication breakdown..) and Queen's a night at the opera is AMAZING (I grew up with it and still listen to it frequently)... but, come on? Is it necessary throw these songs in because they're the band's most popular? When it comes down to it though, Bohemian Rhapsody rocks wayy harder (esp. for an operatic minded piece).... and Stairwasy to heaven is just... meh.. like Il Mago said "when Stairway comes on, I think...ugh, and switch the station"

Bohemian Rhapsody without contest. Altho paranoid android beats Boh Rap also without contest. Led Zep are an incredible band but stairway is a low point and funny in a bad way. Now, whole lotta love, mist mountain hop, when the levee breaks, babe I'm gonna leave you, in my time of dying - any of these tower over stairway and most other classic rock.

"Stairway to Heaven" is a good song, but yeah...I've heard it about 1000 too many times. If I never heard it again, I wouldn't miss it. When I do listen to Led Zeppelin IV, I usually feel compelled to skip over it.

Yep, Led Zep IV is the rock of ages - the opening thunder of rock n roll is the beginning of a beautiful noise - xcept for stairway which I never liked much - until I heard rolf harris' version that is!

Let us never speak of Rolf Harris again, or I'll force you to listen to "Two Little Boys" for eternity

Without a doubt the musicmanship on Stairway is superior. Rhapsody is more gimmicky and has a more immediate impact on the listener. I never grow tired of replaying "Stairway". While I can't say the same for "Raphsody".

I have to admit the first time i heard Stairway to Heaven was when i was in a store. I was little and had no variety of music but i would have to say that I was hooked. I would also have to say i had to listen to the Bohemian Rhapsody ha alot more than one time it took a while for it to grow so i would have to agree with all the Zepplin fans in here.

They are both great pieces of composition, musicianship and theatricality...so I really cldn't pick one over another. But Bo Rap possibly hits an emotional chord inside me stronger than Stairway...hmmmmm
Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been, Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene; As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be, So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.
