They were called Blizzard, but they weren't self publishing like they are now and had to use companies like Interplay to put out their games.

http://www.blizzard.com/inblizz/profile.shtmlThey adopted the Blizzard label in 1994. Warcraft came out in 1994. The games you mentioned are specifically citied as "prior to Warcraft". Why did I bother nit-picking? I have no idea.

I'm just waitin' for another PC RTS style Starcraft. I've seen the footage from Ghost and all that, but I can't say I think it'll live up to the hype. But then again, Blizzard has like one of the best track records in gaming history, but I still just think their realm is the P.C.

Yeah, I'd have never known either if I wasn't a rabid Blizzard fanboy that read nearly every page on thier website. <_<

I'm tired of all these Warcrafts. I demand another Starcraft or Diablo.

Okay so my buddy who has been playing WOW for a long time now finally convinced me to buy the game. I have the game but I still don't really want to play it that much. Can anyone talk me out of playing an Online Rpg?
I have my reasons -WOW costs like $15.00 a month or something like that. I don't want to spend money each month cause I'm a cheap ass. -This will be my FIRST EVER ONLINE RPG -I really don't want to spend my whole day on my (new) computer playing this game and never coming out of my room. -I try to have a social life -I still am playing numerous games on both my xbox and my buddies ps2. -I need to beat Tony Hawk Remix 2 on psp -I don't like rpgs as much as my friend does. -$50.00 is a waste if I only use the one month free membership thing and I decide i don't want to play anymore.
p.s.-By playing online, and paying for it on blizzards servers is there a possiblity that I will get alot of viruses; and if so what (free) programs {remember im a cheap ass} that will protect my virginity holding PC.
pp.s-Can anyone tell me about graphic/video cards?

You're not going to get viruses or adware or anything by playing online. Does WoW come with the first month free or anything? If it does, take advantage of that to see how it goes. If you feel like it's consuming your soul or you just don't like it you won't have to pay anything extra.
