Red Orchestra is the best online realism FPS game I have ever had the pleasure of playing. Gameplay includes both infantry and tank combat. It is availailable in a retail package($30US) and on steam ($25US). You can learn more, and speak directly to the devs on the official wepsite at Red Orchestra Official Website

If you decide to get the game consider joining Battle for Europe: Red Orchestra. You can get all the details Here

Dude who do u work for Tripwire? lol, its got alot of bugs/graphics are bad-unreal Tournement engine-not source and u gota wait 5-6 min loading time...kinda gay!! dont buy it, just another ww2 shooter. Only good thing about it is the attention 2 weapons detail and realism, unlike dod where u can shoot sum1 in the head with a 45. and he lives...

I Have had the game since release and I have not experienced a single bug. The graphics are not the best but are still real good. The player animations while walking need improvement but the first person animations are THE best in any game I have seen. and loading times for me are between 15-20 sec. My sys. specs. are: AMD 64 3700+, 1Gig RAM, nVidia 6800gs. I run the game in 1600x1024 everything on high, AA 4x, AF 16x, HDR On and I get about 45-90FPS. I used to be a diehard DOD fan since beta1.1 but I cannot play it or any other game with crosshairs anymore. RO:OST has me spoiled and there is no going back. BTW the first patch is already availible. And I do not work for TW, just trying to get the word out to help the RO comunity grow!

@1337 pwner,

1) Comparing Source to Unreal Engine? lol

UE2.5 may have some bugs at the moment but they will be fixed shortly. Source on the other hand has more bugs and problems than anything, you may not notice this alot in Half-Life 2, but in the mods its very laggy, Source engine would be crap if used for Red Orchestra, Deus Ex may not have good graphics but still kicks the hell out of any other game (storyline-wise).

2) Loading times? Mine are always less than 20 seconds. If you're not happy, get a better computer.

3) Just another ww2 shooter? o_O

Find something else comparable .....

4) Red Orchestra will be ported to Unreal Engine 3 when it becomes avaible, then compare it to the Source Engine :-)

I like single player most of the time. Is there a way to increase the number of bots in the single player aspect of the game?? In single player you only seem to have 5-6 on each side so that makes for a pretty underwhelming experience.
