I am getting more and more expansion packs that seem to require a patch to the Original game in order to complete installation. It would seem to me that it would be more sensible and also a better service to the customer to include the required patch or patches with the expansion , if it is something that is already known to be required before the expansion is shipped to market. Does this seem sensible or am I way off base? I don't know all the ins and outs of the gaming industry. I only play single player offline and do not generally get into online play. I do know I am a bit tired of having to get online to download a patch before I can load an expansion and start playing offline.
