I'm trying to rediscover an old game I used play a few years ago.

Here is my discription of the game from what I remember;

The game starts of with a man (your character) sitting in a car. He is a burgular and is about to rob a mansion. The owner of the mansion recently died.

Your character/burgular climbs up the side of the mansion into a study. When he goes to leave, he goes to leave through the window (the same way he came in), but its stuck, so he goes to leave through front door.

When he exits the study he realises there are more people, who are also trapped inside this house, other chracters include a school boy, and man who is mute and a female news reporter.

In the game you have to go about the house searching for clues and discover things. One part of the game is where it falls to night and everyone goes to sleep, your character/burgular has a dream, where he awakens, leaves the room and discovers everyone murdered on the floor in the hallway, the masked murder comes out, and reveals himself to be your character.

Thats pretty much all I can remember. I'll accept ANY kind of help, even the smallest details.
Thank-you for any help.

5 Days a Stranger. The Special Edition you used to have to pay for, now the maker offers it for free. Check out the entire collection here:

The different games are listed in light blue just under the websites title. Enjoy! The best freeware series I have ever played.
