Today, I finished Monkey Island 3, after allready beating 1,2,and 4, I can now safley say, this is the best series of games I have ever played. Games today rarely have any humor (ecept for Conker's, man that game's hilarious.) Monkey Island is nonstop cornball jokes and piratey puns. Has anyone else played these games, and what is your favorite part? And share your experiences with the other Lucasarts Masterpieces, like Sam and Max, Maniac Mansion 1 and 2.

How do you guys get these old games to run on your newer computers? I've been a die hard fan of the older sierra games (like the kings quest series) but I can't seem to get them to run on my system (if i can get in the game it runs way too fast to play)

The Secret of Monkey Island is amazing, for those that have not played it. I love the corny jokes and allusions to other lucas arts stuff like indiana jones and star wars.

The characters are priceless and it is easily my favorite old pc game. Great for when you are bored, I highly recommend picking up the first monkey island and working your way up through 4 (although 4, imo is not nearly as good)

Yeah, I'd have to say for the most addicting game of its time, it had to be Droidworks! But for the absolute best adventure game I've ever played, it'd HAVE to be Grim Fandango. It is truly amazing.
