Is a game switch necessary?? I am not a hardcore gamer I suppose.....I don't buy a game and beat it as fast as possible on all levels , uninstall it then move to a different one. I have a fair number of games that I play according to my mood. I play arcade, flight sim , Sci-Fi FPS, military FPS, RTS games( sci fi and military) and some horror-survival . It depends on how I want to "unwind" or relax after work and how much time I want to devote to a game in a single setting. Sometimes, something with "instant action" or "skirmish "suits me....or a game with a "save anywhere" feature since I am very busy in my profession and lifestyle and just want to play for 10-30 min max. I have never played one game to the exclusion of all others. Would it not be better to keep the game you are enjoying and load one or two drastically different games that you could enjoy until those occasions when you might want to revisit the one you are currently playing? Right now ,I am enjoying playing ( and replaying) various levels in Dawn Of War, Quake 4, Heroes of the Pacific, Battlefront II, Swat 4, Sniper Elite, Call of Duty and COD United Offensive, Peter Jackson's King Kong, Freedom Force vs The Third Reich, and Battlefield 1942. I'm starting to putter with Rome Total War, Castlestrike, Raven Shield, Halo, Laser Squad Nemesis and Thief Big Grineadly Shadows. Sure, by puttering through all these games and moving around amongst them ,it takes me forever to finish them , but it takes a long time for me to exhaust all the fun they have to offer me too.....so I think I get my money's worth out of them instead of going hard and finishing one in a single weekend of "non-stop" marathon gaming like what some of my friends do. This January or February, I may add Call of Duty 2 , since I am about through the other COD titles. Even then, I'll probably keep them on my PC because there are some levels I just find fun to replay.
