Hey

I have been searching for a old game that i used to play on my old pc. Of course now that i want to i cant remember the name of it.
I think its been about a weeks since i started looking, no luck since.

It was a space game.. you were given / obtained a special space ship that had a light speed? drive, and it seemed to run out of fuel quite fast, you had to buy parts to upgrade you ship and you were frequently attacked by aliens and humans alike.

The closest i can get to describing the type of game is that it was very similar to the game Freelancer but only in DOS, and definitely 2D.

The viewpoint on it was top-down.

If anyone has an idea of what i am talking about that would be awesome.

Why is it that after days of searching i cant find a game.. but after i posted this question i find it the next day?

Oh well...

The name of it turns out to be "Solar Winds" by the way.

Which was a ripoff of Star Control II by the way, if you want to give the original a try.
