While here at Metacritics the organizers oppened their eyes and finnaly showed all the negative reviews about Spore(most of them don´t say anything about DRM), Amazon just gave up and erased all reviews. All 2,200 reviews, negative and positive. I think this bad PR and a bad move, it hurts their credibility. While they are not forced to show the reviews, it´s good politics to let the customer say what they feel about the product, people feel as they are helping and despite not buying a badly reviwed item, they go back to buy other products, because they trust. The same thing here with metacritics. At least the score was shown, going down by the minute.
Wait... I'm confused--why are they erasing reviews? How does a shitty game influence them adversely? Are they trying to save sales by not letting people read reviews so they'll buy a much-hyped game, regardless of its quality?
Sorry, I'm out of the loop. Someone fill me in, please.
I´m not getting either. I was watching closely all the protest since it begin. That´s why I said in other topic that here in metacritics they were censoring the comments. Then metacritics started to show them, when the score reached 5.9. The Amazon was getting great credit from their customers because they were letting the reviews stand and now that. Go there and take a look.
