Hello! I'm begging for help naming a game I played probably 8 years back or so.

It had a chesslike setup, and you controlled an army of fantasy characters. Each could move a set field, much like chess, and then interacted using their abilities when near enemy characters.

Everything was fully animated and very beautiful.

Characters included: sorcerers, ghosts, wizards, that kind of thing. There were a lot of different characters.

Any help would be so appreciated!

Sounds too recent to be the old "Archon" game. Probably Dark Reign by Silicon Knights.
