UT2004, though none of them are bad.

Not to mention all of these titles will be dwarfed when DOOM 3 and HL2 come out. Those are gonna be some fun times Smiler

Exactly. That's why the "shooter of the moment" title of this category is appropriate. I will say that these 5 have been excellent appetizers for what is to come.

I agree. I have the Painkiller demo installed on my PC and I jump into it just about every day. Big Fun.

except ut 2004 has unseated most of my other daily activities, like bathing, etc... everyone should buy this game - $40 gets you six cds, a modding engine and enough user-made shit to extend its worth indefinitely.

Call of Duty was no doubt the best this year! I agree UT definitely has its bases covered when it comes to quantity, but the controls just totally aren't tight enough. Oh yeah, and none of these are as good as HL2! Too bad about Doom 3 though...:'(

I wanna try out MOH pacific assault. That game looks pretty awesome. I still need to try out allied assault, spearhead, and brakthrough though Roll Eyes
