Here are some videos you might enjoy of ww2online. Some are very old and much has been updated.

As has been posted before, WW2OL graphics will never be the same quality as a standalone or 32 players shoebox map game. The view distances prohibit using extremly high polygon numbers. 4kilometers is the MINIMUM view distance for infantry and the distance is greater for tanks and planes etc. Standalones use fog and bldgings to shorten the view distance and can have a lot of polys on fewer objects. WW2OL doesnt have that priviledge and has to budget every object in game.
